Statistics: Russia’s industrial output rises 2.7% on year in Aug

MOSCOW, Sep 17 (PRIME) -- Russia’s industrial output rose 2.7% on the year and on the month in August after rising 3.9% and falling 0.3% in July, respectively, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Monday.

Excluding seasonal and calendar factors, industrial output went up 0.3% in August, the same as in July, the service said.

In January–August, industrial output grew 3.1% on the year.
